I leave for the beach on Saturday and I was wondering if it's ok to spray the jet pump nozzle, linkages and everything out back with T9? If not what do y'all suggest for prepping for salt use? I have plenty of salt away for flushing just want to protect the pump and exposed hardware while I'm down there.

I don't use T9 but I spray with CRC 6-56 all the time. Nozzles still look like new.

I always use T9 on the pumps and 656 in the engine bay. A combo that has served me well for many years.

I second T-9. I only boat in salt water and I've only used this product on every boat that I've owned. I spray down the back of the boat, engine bay, transom straps, winch and trailer wheels.

Sprayed it on the jet pump area today and it leaves a nice smooth coating of protection. Also sprayed my cleanout tube clamps with it.

I do the same thing. I've been told NOT to spray it on the anodes though.
