I'm playing with installing a backup camera on the boat trailer, but need a reverse signal. Does anyone know what color wire on the harness is the reverse lockout?

Yep, it is! Was just coming back to update.

What camera did you use? , and did you connect it to a factory head unit or was it a standalone display?

It's got a standalone display, and the only in-car wiring is just a plug into the cigarette lighter. Got this one, was half off on a lightning deal the other way. Pic below when I was just testing it out, waiting for the extension cable to come so I can put the camera at the back of the trailer.

I've got this stupid PITA driveway, hoping this makes getting it in a little easier. Not the prettiest thing, but will just be there on boat days.

Its says waterproof but can it be submerge in water?

I suppose we'll find out, lol. It's apparently IP67, which should be okay for the few minutes its in.
