As if my own boat is not a problem right now a friend brought me his. Thought it had no spark but I verified it did.

I took a fuel sample, since both engines refuse to start......I found water. His boat sits in the lake at a covered dock. I started pumping out the gas and removed 10 gallons⚠⚠⚠....yes seriously...of water before I ever hit tinted liquid. I think someone hates him.

SR230 twin engine. We ordered a couple start solenoids since both click but the starboard won't turn over at all while we inspect the port.

All 4 plugs on the port engine were rusted over so after fuel was replaced with good stuff, I put in new plugs. Still won't attempt to hit, it cranks but won't start.

I want to check the fuel pressure, the pump turns on but after sitting in that much water for over a month it might have killed the pump. Is there a valve I just don't see hiding on this thing?

Can u just unhook the fuel like and turn on the ignition and see if its pumping at all?
Yeah going to do that shortly but if the pressure is not high enough will the injectors fire?

Injectors will fire without pressure. You can feel them click. If you unhook the fuel line get ready for 40psi of gas to fly out! Was the boat under water?

Thank you and no, does not show signs of that.

Infeel like I should know the answer to this but if it had that much water in the fuel tank... Is there a fuel filter somewhere that could have water in it still?

No, none. Someone probably put it in there. I'm not exaggerating it was 2 five gallon buckets of just water
