So, no idea what caused this. I was cleaning the boat today and it looks like one of the little Fiberglass bumps is broken off. This is right under the captain seat.

Is this just repaired like any other fiberglass?

I would assume a high traffic area it would be better to fix sooner than later.

I’d probably just fill with epoxy and sand to shape as best you can. Obviously it won’t take much, that’ll keep it from chipping more.

Install SeaDeck.

Cannot see it real clear. Any possibility of warranty claim?

Nope, sea deck requires scrubbing to clean, fiberglass requires a hose and a towel.

No seadeck requires taking your wife out for a nice dinner and working into conversation that the few small stains on the seadeck really bother you but you don't know how to clean it. Then letting her scrub it for you. ;)

Youn can make a mold for the non-skip pattern and fix it but it is a lot of work.
If it really bothers you, a little cleanup with dremel and a micro patch with gel coat paste from Spectrum would be invisible (for anyone but you, lol).

You think warranty would cover this?
I’m not about to put the boat in the shop this time of year though.

It’s not the end of the world to me, main thing is making sure there are no further issues or that it grows.

You can also buy a pre made mold for most non skid... saves a bit of the work.

No scrubbing, hose or trowel required. Just peal and stick. Looks and feels great. Best mod I've done on the boat.
