Always have towed to/from lake. Now boat is in water for the weekend.
When leaving in water without shore power, which battery switches (dual battery) do i leave on for auto bilge & solar charge cells to still work?
Both switches on, just start, just house?

Assuming key off & out.

Leave on whichever switch powers your bilge pump unless yours is hardwired to the battery in which case batteries don't need to be left on.

Sorry, too general. ...was asking for 242x
Dont know how the pump or solar cells are wired.

if your unsure leave the house battery on

You can experiment by putting a few gallons of water in the bilge using a hose. If the bilge pump kicks on while all switches are off you'll know it's hot wired. If it doesn't kick on select your house battery or start battery until it goes on. it's important to know how your bilge pump operates.

Your year boat requires leaving the house battery on. It'll be fine over the weekend.

Thanks!
...does anyone know if the solar cells still work with switches off? - just curious. Would be nice to have the E circuit diagram.

Solar charges regardless of switch positions.
The "house" battery is the one that powers up connext (if you're not sure). In my 2016, it seems connext needs to be powered up once to activate the auto bilge, and then the key switch can be shut off.

Thanks. Any workaround for when you want to stop to float , shut just the start switch off & the connext shuts down and has to be restarted?

Will say the boat has never run out of battery even with a long day of tunes & extra amplif. sub, without turning off any switches. Have used my battery pac 4 times to help other boats, but never used it myself.

If you just want to kill the engines and float without shutting down the connext pull the kill switch lanyard and leave the keys on. Just remember to replace your lanyard before trying to start! lol
