I just received my replacement Seadek Mats that were warrantied and in the package I have white “Seadek mitigation material to prevent traction mats from melting”. They are smaller pieces than the actual seadek. Anyone know what to do with them?

Look some more, i think it's to use to cover some curved areas of the boat so the light does not reflect directly on the mat and melt it with a focused beam of sunlight.

No me those pads installed look terrible. I know they prevent the damage to the seadeck. But no way would i put that on.
If thats what happens to full sea deck installs i will keep my carpet

It does not happen to all but when it does this helps a lot.
