Just purchased my first Yamaha Jet boat after a couple of years of research of what I wanted and was able to find a 2008 212SS we picked up last weekend. Did some maintenance, still waiting on more parts to come in for even MOAR maintenance. With that said, my wife, kids and I took her out for our maiden voyage yesterday....

Huge Props (impellers) to @Bruce for all your help along the way...... I hope we can meet up sometime.

Those kids need you to put a tower on your boat!

It has one. I want a different on. This one will be pulled off soon. It has too much sway. 9FE62C7E-7690-4B7E-9D59-4839DC73855F.jpeg

how sturdy is it? Looks gorgeous!
I like the bimini more than the tower actually!
Aerial freeride.
Speakers came with it and do the job for what we do.
Sturdy it's only ok not great. The newer limited s towers got me jealous.
I would go for an mtk tower i know i had a bit more solid construction and similar look.
Honestly i am impressed with the oem towers overall albeit with a flaw on some.
Feel free to hit me up with any questions. It did fine being towed all the way from northwest indiana down to fort Lauderdale and across to bimini and back. The bimini frame uses set screws that just pinch it in place and it came apart. I drilled and tapped it and haven't had issues since. We regularly jump waves on Lake Michigan for fun.

I was thinking of trying to find an OEM or one that looks like them from the older AR series. First thing I am going to try and do is see if this current one can be stiffened up. It has pull pins, instead of bolts.
