Does it hang in the anchor locker correctly?
I had to trim about 1/4" off of mine if I recall correctly in order for it to fit the locker. But have to say this anchor is great, not once have I had any issues with it getting set and holding.

You can also cut the rod with a hacksaw. I've been meaning to do that but for now I've just been putting one side in with the clip thingy and leaving the other side free. Then I coil the anchor rope on top of it and close the hatch so it doesn't move.

Thoughts on this vs the GB40? Any reason to go with the higher amp starter or is this enough? Would be buying for our 232LS

None at all. The engines in the 232 are just waverunner engines. They take nothing to spin over. Noco started putting recommendations on their sizing. I think it said 4ltr engine or smaller. So that would include most any car, but would easily spin over a 5.3 or 6.2ltr light pickup truck. Maybe not a cold diesel truck.

I bought 2 more as Christmas presents for the boys (and their toys). Wish these were around when I was growing up. Love technology.

I bought two more as well. Daughter trunk and wife's trunk. Heck, the flashlight and USB ports are a bonus. Put a lightning cable in the storage bag with it on the boat, for those that don't have USB ports for charging the kids phones.

That's a great find. The Two bank is not a bad deal either!

Didn't even see, also a great deal! I've had some battery drain so am planning on running 2 6V batteries in series for the new radio install and keeping the two 12V I have just in case I ever need emergency parallel it's already set up, so 3 bank it is for me.

any reason whatsoever to use 6v batteries in series, when a group 27 or 31 12v is so inexpensive? Did you just have some laying around? Parting out a golf cart?

I'm no music nut, but our 1000w JL amp runs easily off of one of the two Group 27 Deep Cycle batteries while the other is there for the motors. Why not one more 12v? Just curious.

I talked to a member on here who did I big write up on battery types and run time, swears he gets more out of the 6V batteries because they're true deep cycles. I did some research and spoke with a few battery guys on the subject and they agreed, if you have the space the run time on 2 6V will be better than a single 12v. And for a really good group 31, there is really no price difference between that and 2 6V batteries.

There must be something to it, as there is a reason golf carts do it. Report back what you find. I've read some similar threads as well.

Good article here, it's RV's but good general info. Basically, when fully charged the 6V has a bigger capacity and they have better discharge/recharge capacity. So for stereo specifically, run them down as far as you want and they will ultimately be able to be charged back to full more often than a 12v, where you may start to see charge capacity shrink with use. Because of that, with proper maintenance and a good battery charger/tender the 6V should last way longer than a 12V.

Except that you'll have to wait 1 to 2 months for delivery.

Amazon has been good about under promising and over delivering. Whenever a product is being sourced by a outside store, they cannot assure delivery times. As long as that store is not in China, it should come much quicker than the estimate. Noco ships domestically, so it should be good.

That's a good point though. I have ordered, and then realized the seller was in China, GRRR Literal slow boat from China.

So they come in. Can you say new old stock?
Both are GB20s. One is 400a and the other is 500a. I will have to look at mine to see what it is. But that surprised me.

the photo above is the smaller. So I guess they upgraded them.
