Lowered Height is 6' 7". A huge plus for those with shorter garages.

Height on the trailer is 8'5", for 18+ length. That's according to the online brochures. The center hull is quite deep.

I don't see how that would help. The handlebars and wind deflector stick up higher than the Bimini top.

Hmmm…well, if you check the height of the one without the Bimini it’s a lot shorter which to me means it’s the Bimini that’s making it tall

Also, in doing research for the engine selection;

The 230 Rotax 1630 ACE is a supercharged version of the 170 Rotax® 1630 ACE, you can't tune the 170hp up to 230hp but theoretically you can tune the 100hp and 170hp close to 200hp. The ECU and controls on the Switch are slightly different from the Sea-Doo skis and might not work correctly with a preexisting ski tune but it shouldn't take RIVA/Maptuner too long to have a suitable tune after the Switch hits the water.

There's never been a 100hp version of the current 1630 ACE and there may be mechanical changes which could prevent major gains like the current 130hp version gets from a tune. So there's no 100% guarantee that you'll be able to tune the 100hp up to ~200hp like you can the 130hp and 170hp skis.

The 230 Rotax 1630 ACE also has a smaller supercharger than the 300 Rotax 1630 ACE. You can only theoretically tune the 230hp up to about 250-260hp without doing major part swaps.

I think the only tune that would really be worth it is for the 100hp if you can get it close to 200hp. I'm not planning to tune mine, that's why I went with the 230.

I debated going with a 100hp and tuning it to save some money but the uncertainty was too much. There's a few people saying you can do it online with no actual proof. They might end up being correct but I'd suggest waiting and seeing first before going that route. Otherwise you're stuck with a 100hp and that would suck.

Initial I thought this looked pretty lame, but I agree it’s innovative and I’m excited to see one at the lake.

Still, I’m not sure who the 13’ demographic is though…

It’s for all the young people that seem to like everything mini. Homes, cars, bikes and now jet pontoons. SMH

They can pull their 13’ pontoon with the mini home/van. Perfect!

I actually thought this was April fools when they released it. Hopefully the found a way to make it quite, because that's the pontoon experience. They will sell a ton at that pricepoint tho.

It's 8'5" on the trailer. Since the top is supposed to be down when trailering the boat, the Bimini has nothing to do with that measurement. Nobody is getting this thing in a garage.

The height is 7.5' on the trailer without the Bimini. If you get a version with the Bimini you can easily remove it for storage. It will fit in most garages once the Bimini is removed which looks pretty simple.
