It’s an interesting concept. I think truck (body / battery on frame) applications are where this makes sense… today.Only thing I don't like about it is the camber on the rear wheels. Just looks odd on a pickup. Clearly just an F100 body on a MachE chassis, which is neat and all, but doesn't quite fit the "theme" of the crate motor they're selling.
Want to show me that a crate motor works? Put it in an old Pinto and go drag racing with it. I don't want a show vehicle, I want something that looks like it was drug out of a corn field, retrofitted with new tech, and is actually doing some work.
They're light and easy to swap big power into.@2kwik4u I owned a 73 Pinto and that name and drag racing should never be included in the same sentence.
