Storing jetski outside during winter

What is the best way to store a jetski outside during a michigan winter. I have a cover for it that it currently has on it. Will that be enough? Or should I use something over the cover like a tarp. Here is the cover I have on it currently.

I would use that cover with a tarp over it. Snow will slide off easily and it will save the cover underneath
