Just curious what others fuel burn is while surfing.

We have a 2016 AR240. We're at about 7000 rpm to run 10-11 mph while surfing. About 20gph according to the Connext screen.

I have a different boat but I burn a hell of a lot of gas. 2021 AR195.

I run about 6500 rpm at 10.5ish mph to surf. Usually about 10 gallons in half an hour of total surf time, so your 20gph number tracks about the same as mine.

Mine takes 92 octane which is $5.20/gallon in WA 😜

Yikes. At least I can run regular 87.

It's just interesting seeing dedicated surf boat owners talking about 5gph or even less while surfing. I know they have a boat designed specifically for that and can't do things we can do in our Yamahas, but I didn't think it would be that big of a difference.
