After owning an 18' Glastron bowrider I bought new 18 years ago, I finally got myself a new boat! Picked up the 2015 SX240 a few weeks ago and love it! Holy crap is it big! I'm looking forward to years of enjoyment! The only downside is having a boat payment again after not having one for like 15 years ha ha! Glad to be part of the "Jet boat club". Thanks to everyone for the posts on the pros of jet boat ownership, all of you helped to make my choice very easy!

@Dean S. glad to have you on board that has been reported to be a great boat! update your profile with your location so we know where your at and be sure to check out the FAQ/reference thread.

What!! There's a plug!?! LOL

My second time in I wasn't 40 yards away from the ramp when I got that sudden "O-sh*t I forgot something" feeling. Yep - I was right. Time to go swimming!!

Wecome & Congrats. There is tons of info here and great people to answer you questions.

Indeed, welcome! Now that you have owned it for 3 weeks does it still feel as big? I went from an 18 foot Maxum to a 23 foot Yamaha. The second day we had it parked in the driveway I wondered where my wife had run off to in the suburban...low and behold I found the suburban hiding behind the boat! It felt huge then and now it just feel right!

It is big behind the Tahoe. I did not realize is was so big until i took those pics. Out on the water it feels just right though. It is nice to have that extra space. Our old SeaRay was a 21' so 3 extra feet did not seem too much at the time when we first started looking at it. We hope to get it out again this weekend to play with it some more.

Congrats and Welcome aboard! Let's see some pics!
