    Yamaha 212x Stereo

I'm interested in the answer to this one as well. Yamaha apparently switched to the Fusion head unit on the 212X in 2019 to replace the the Polk unit my 2018 has. The Polk has RCA outputs, so adding an amp was pretty straightforward. The wiring diagram and installation info for MS-RA70 is...

2018 212x versus 2019 and overall size on trailer

The boat's beam is 8'6" according to the specs above. It's not any wider on the trailer, since many states, and perhaps all of them, have 102" maximum towing width laws. Your garage should be wide enough. You should also be tall enough with the tower down, without having to extend the cables...

How low can the 212 tower go?

Here you go. 8 feet shouldn't be a problem without having to lower the tongue. Mine fits in a 93 1/2" garage opening. If you're looking for simple, lengthen the cables, don't remove them. That way you're not dealing with an additional support to rest the tower on when lowered. Your 212...

    Audio 101

BigAbe, further to @Mainah's post, you may want to take a look at this thread, particularly post #4: https://jetboaters.net/threads/2018-242x-audio-problem.20295/ Assuming that you are looking at the same setup as @BoaTN describes on his late model year 2018 242X, it looks like you could try...

    Audio 101

Those were probably my threads you were reading complaining about Yamaha wiring screw ups on my particular 2018 212X. I believe my boat, built later in the model year, suffered from a changeover from Polk amps/speakers to Wet Sounds dsp amps/speakers, where they didn't also completely...

What are you watching on TV? Favorite Shows? <name the service used>

Bosch--just finished binge watching the first 4 seasons. Really excellent Jack Ryan Ozark Mrs. Maisel-. You don't have to be Jewish to fully appreciate this but it doesn't hurt. Probably the funniest series I've ever seen. Great writing, great acting. Shameless--won't be the same when Emmy...

    Yamaha 212x Stereo

As noted in the first thread I embedded above, I played around with the balance and fader on the Connext, because, like you, I thought the system didn't sound right from the factory. As noted in the embedded thread, in some cases right was left, and left was right, and the sound bar had...

    242x Yamaha swivel racks ?

The big slot in the swivel rack will hold the You Got This 2.0 Zup Board. Lots of.overhang, but it fits securely.

2018 212x versus 2019 and overall size on trailer

Yes, 24 feet should work fine. Any place to put a 25 foot long pole tent for shelter, just to keep the elements off of it? Or a lean-to?

2018 212x versus 2019 and overall size on trailer

I'll take a crack at some of these questions. With the tower folded on my 2018 212X, the minimum height was about 103". Extending the cables to about as far as one can might bring it down to about 90". I have my cables extended so it's about down to 92" folded. See the thread on extending...

Extending Tower Retention Cables--2018 212X--Thanks Haknslash

Yes, including removing the clamps, or at least loosening and rotating the clamps out of the way.

    Wet Sound Audio Package

I agree with this 100%. I also believe, based on some discussions with owners of late-year 2018 models, that much of the wiring issues have been rectified going into 2019. I haven't heard the 2019 setups, so I can't vouch for this completely, but if there's still problems, I doubt it's...

    2017 212x Swim Deck Speakers

There may be, eventually. Some folks at Wet Sounds I've talked to are looking into building Revo's in the 5.25" size. I'm not enthusiastic about cutting into that space for the same reason you note.

    2017 212x Swim Deck Speakers

Check out the last few posts on page two of this thread: https://jetboaters.net/threads/looking-for-advice-on-a-2017-212x-stereo-upgrade.15588/ 6.5's is the largest I've heard of, and it looks like it needs a spacer ring to do so. If you go a different direction, please post it up. Jeff

vortex 2015 VR with twin 150s supercharged, enough power or no.......

I don't know these boats at all, but do they come from the factory without airboxes and with K&N style filters?

So, What Exactly Do Those Flashing Lights Mean?

Picked up a $20 Internet WiFi Bridge/Repeater, to add internet to my satellite box. The instruction manual is "interesting", to say the least. While I finally got the thing configured and apparently working, I couldn't tell for sure until I actually hooked it up to the satellite box. The...

    5k tow limit

You might want to repost this up in the Tow Rig forum. Probably will get more looks. My $.02 is that it's less about the maximum tow weight in your situation than it is about the wheelbase of your Acura MDX. You've got about 26 feet of boat and trailer hanging off a, what, 17 foot vehicle...
