    Brand new MR1 engine?

I don't think you can buy a brand new one. They don't make them anymore. I'm on my second rebuilt engine. 1st one has been great 7 yrs. 2nd one not so much. It has been replace under warranty 3 times. Of course labor not covered. 2006 SX230

    Flushing Engines

I have not had any overheating, the first time this happened it corroded away a piece in the manifold and water somehow got in oil, this time I have had a small water leak into boat which I decided to address so I pulled that engine and sure enough manifold was corroded to a point that any day...

    Flushing the engines

You could clamp the incoming line in boat so water only comes from hose

    Flushing Engines

No, use to use salt a way but swear it ruined manifolds after prolonged use. Just replaced both sides so may try dishsoap now

    Flushing Engines

Just wanted to post about Flushing engines and salt water. My boat is a 2006 Sx230 with about 580 hrs. I am religious about Flushing at least 10 min on the hose each side. I have had manifolds off boat twice, once for a major leak and this time for a minor water leak. Both times all the cooling...

    need fiberglass repair help

Man, thanks for all the replies. They are in the area that i figured i was going to be needed. The boat is a 2006 and is in really decent shape underneath. We never beach the boat so the bottom stayed pretty nice. The rest of the boat is in excellent shape. ( i have worked really hard to keep it...

Ceramic Coating Brand New Boat - Is Paint Correction Step Needed?

For many years i was a seller of boat bling products. I used their products with great results. The boat bling hot sauce was one of the best i have ever used, as a matter of fact, we would pull our boat out of water, rinse at ramp pull to the side and wipe down using Hot sauce, i went years...

    Left engine no ignition

Maybe a few will have some thoughts on this, for a while now my left engine when key is turned does nothing, but if it continued turning key off and on after about 5 times engine would crank and all would be good, recently when i turned the key i heard a click coming from control box at rear. I...

    Boating mag 275SD test

Too costly and frankly not attractive at all. Those side glass areas are (in my opinion) the ugliest things i have seen out of Yamaha, dont like the square loungers, and gas at $4 gallon, 90 gallons is $360 for a day of water sport play, but I did like the in water seats. $129,000 that's exactly...
