    Double Tubing

How do you fit two ropes on the low tow point? I've only ever attached one because there doesn't appear to be room for two.

    2018-2019 242 adjustable bimini

Mine has loosened during rough water before, but that could be because it wasn't tightened enough. Yours shouldn't have loosened without the added drag of the canvas on the frame, but I'm not surprised that it happened. I actually had to have mine re-threaded because I couldn't lock the top in...

Is there a doctor in the house?

You can sort of do a test to see if it's a ligament tear pretty easily. Put all your weight on the good leg and support your body with a wall/chair or something. Lift your bad leg up in the air with your knee bent 90° (sort of like the karate kid pose without your hands in the air). Move your...

    Testing the new wake booster

I downloaded Speed Tracker Lite. I haven't tested it out yet, but the display goes to the tenth decimal place.

    Testing the new wake booster

I'm going to try a GPS speed app to test next time I'm out.

I have this same issue as well.

    Ecoboost towing question

How many miles do you have on it? I used to have an F-150 ecoboost and experienced the shuddering problem from time or two. Shorly thereafter, it started throwing codes saying that my timing was over-advanced on two of the 4 camshafts. Got a quote that it was going to be $4-5K to repair, so I...

    2018 242x Bimini with sunroof fit on a 2017 242x tower?

I'm going to go with no. The 2017 has some tube structure above the canvas. Since the 2018 bimini does not feature this structure, the canvas will not have the cutouts to go around it.

    242 E Series Bimini

Strap goes behind the crotch of the tube just ahead of the pivot point. and gets threaded into the ratchet in the area beneath the velcro which holds the ratchet up out of the way.

Show Us Your Wake! (surfing mods comparo)

Water finally warmed up enough (64°F) for this brave soul to give the wakebooster a try. This was her first time surfing mind you. I still have a ways to go to get the wave dialed but I'm confident a more experienced rider could have gone ropeless. 10.3 MPH with full factory ballast.

Why aren't you boating? (A place to brag or vent)

Took mine out last week for a cruise and didn't realize prior to arriving at the launch that the annual lake fly hatch was at full force. Took it out anyway. When we loaded her back up, the front was completely brown. Pressure washer wouldn't even remove the dead bugs, so I ended up scrubbing...

    tow rig tires

Check out the Kumho Crugen HT51 (very highly rated on tirerack.com). I had a set on my old truck before I traded it in and they handled the snow really well. I think I paid $120 per tire at walmart.com

Honest review of the Wake Booster

I think that's because they are in fairly shallow water.

One picture of your last outing.

First trip of the year, just for an hour to make sure everything was running smooth and to test out the WakeBooster. Water temp was a bone chilling 42°F and my arms were bright red by the time I got the booster installed, but it made quite the difference. It's hard to judge in the picture but...

    242 E Series Bimini

I leave mine on if I know I'm maxing out at 60MPH and take it off if I need to take the freeway.
