    This is incorrect. You do not need a captain's license to charter your boat unless you are in waters controlled by the US coast guard. Inland lakes do not apply. You just need a commercial insurance policy with $1,000,000 in coverage.

    I’m getting a code 53 exhaust temp overheat. I swapped the sensors from starboard to port hoping the sensor was bad, but the same engine threw the code again. I’ve pulled the cat out and looked at it, it didn’t look bad, but who knows. I count some cataclean tonight, I’m gonna try that tomorrow.

    These motors don’t require a lot of power to start like a car or truck, deep cycle batteries can start them with no issues.

    Deep cycle batteries are fine to start these motors I believe, considering small jet ski batteries start them normally.

    Do what you want, but those batteries are not deep cycle batteries, they are dual purpose. the Reserve Capacity is not the same as the amp hour rating. A dual purpose battery with 195 reserve capacity has a 81.25 ah rating meaning it can run for 20 hours at 4 amps per hour. A dual purpose...
