    Conexxt screen replacement

I was not quoted that by a dealer but after reading numerous threads that seemed to be the going rate. Even 3K seems outrageous. The part lists for $2300, so $700 for labor? It looks like it's retained by four screws. How long can that take??

    Conexxt screen replacement

Thanks! That is awesome news. $1700 is a lot better than 5K.

    Conexxt screen replacement

Hi all, Anybody attempt replacing their Conexxt screen themselves? Does it need to be programmed at the dealer? Anyway to handle this to avoid the dealer and having to give them 5K for this job? Thanks Rob

Replacing a broken shift gate cable??

Wow...I think that previous owner might be fibbing a bit about how much the boat was used in salt water.

Curious about fees charged for changing steering cable, replacing throttle and control bucket cable on a sx240

Man that was a long post. How many sets of cables were replaced. Did you supply those cables?

    230 Hours now what

Hey @Cobra Jet Steering LLC ...I know your remarks are kind of tongue in cheek, but what are your thoughts on removing the cone to check the bearing grease? You put tons of hours on your skis...what's your maintenance schedule like with regard to bearings?

    230 Hours now what

Apparently it's a good idea to check your pump bearings for water intrusion. Change all your hose clamps in your bilge too.

Go to Mass and ask God why you're do special. "Zero issues". Lucky bastard.

    New Canvas Pics

Hi Guys, Just wanted to share a couple of pics of the side skirts and tower boot I had made up from a local canvas shop. Really pretty happy with it. The Florida sun was really killing the gelcoat. This should do the trick I hope. Little tricky to put on but I think it's because I've only put...

    DO NOT BUY YAMAHA FSH

Jesus...can't believe I missed this. My boat has about 275 hours of all salt water usage. Is there some consensus as to how many hours those bearings should go before being replaced? If they can destroy a perfectly good motor on their way out, might not be a bad idea to periodically replace...

    DO NOT BUY YAMAHA FSH

Which boats does that PM concern? For the life of me I can't remember seeing that in my manual for the 2015 242. I must be getting old.

    Auxiliary Voltage Warning

Can't believe the boat started with voltage that low. I would not take your boat out until you have those gremlins resolved. You need to charge that battery ASAP with a good charger.

    low/high aux alarm

Wow...that was some pretty good troubleshooting on your part!

    Auxiliary Voltage Warning

Check the battery connections for tightness. If it's a flooded cell battery, check the electrolyte levels. Use a good voltage meter to check battery voltage directly. I can tell my batteries state of charge when I hook up my battery charger...if it charges at 9 or 10 amps for more than a minute...
