Finally broke her in, now upgrades and build

Yes, I see that, thanks. I should clarify that I have JBP Latteral Thrusters and will need to pull them if I go with Cobras. I really like how well the boat docks with the LTs. Not going with TVs as I want a fin in the water at all times for the 252SE. Has anyone lost latteral docking precision...

Finally broke her in, now upgrades and build

Hey Jocolo21, Bringing this post back for a question...looking at the photos, it seems like the Cobras may be deflecting the water exit for reverse steering....have you noticed any changes in reverse steering with the Cobra's?

    21 Yamaha 252s Stereo Upgrade

Great post! Hey, I'm trying to diagnose a "dead" speaker line to my swim platform on the 252SE. The port side is not producing sound. I've swapped out the speaker to verify this. I wonder if I have a crushed line somewhere in the boat? Also would anyone know or have an idea if the swim...

Bimini Top 252se Model - Water Pooling Issue

Same pooling issue here this summer. After a rain storm, I'd take the golf ball retriever with extension pole and push the sagging bimini up so that the water would splash out! After some time, I noticed that the top needed to be tightened. After tighten up, it seem to be holding less...

    Bimini Sagging (rain water)

Yes, nice idea. I get a large pool of water each time it rains in that front section.

Let’s see those new boats just picked up 252SE

So far, I've only taken the boat out three times so I don't have that much data to go on. Positives: Boat overall runs flawlessly. The fly by wire throttle is a gem. Solid on water, tracks well, a nice ride improvement over the SX190. Nice power, 45 MPH tops with two people and 3/4 fuel...

    252SE - Nice Aft - Build Thread

I'm thinking of tapping it out from inside the locker.... Update: tapping from inside was very difficult. I sprayed with CRC656 and was able to remove with little difficulty. Here's mine:

    Yamaha jets in salt water

@Bouda I'd say that you are in a difficult position. Even if you were to bottom paint, you will get corrosion on the jet drive and components. Plus those drain plugs don't usually do well long term for keeping water out. Any type of jet boat dock or lift is better, in my opinion than bottom...
