    2021 Yamaha 275SD engine died - thoughts?

From looking at the picture I'd say a bad casting might be suspect.

What kind of tubing would you use to replace your inflator hose?

I found a dishwasher drain hose at Lowes that I was able to use on mine. I don't recall the diameter but it's about 8 feet long and was able to modify it using the plastic tips from original hose so it can attach to pump.

    Boat Shelter

One end has zippers for a door and the other does not. During the summer I typically leave the door rolled up as you need a ladder to roll it up and down. You could take the backside off during boating season and drive through and install door for off-season storage. Even with doors open/off...

    Boat Shelter

I back in and yes, racks have to be folded in to fit. Had my wife help remove the racks one time when they were fixed and she insisted I get the foldable racks (I didn't argue). Put rows of patio blocks down so I can line up and back in easy.

    My DIY sandbar spike anchor

Just got my Torq'D augers in this week and made two 5 footers. Wanted to get your feedback on your decision to cut down and joining handle with a pin. Do you have any concern with it breaking at the pin when twisting in to sand. I'm on the fence.....do I leave as one piece or make two piece...

    Boat Shelter

This is year 3 of ownership and it has held up well to 2 Connecticut winters. During big snow storms I'll hit sides so snow slides off and then snow blow around perimeter. Boat stays dry and protected from elements. Boat with tower up fits and clears door opening (barely but it clears)...

How often does it really, really happen?

I've had my boat six years now and boat solely on fresh water lakes. Have never had to remove my plugs to clear debris........knock on wood. Used the reverse maneuver twice to clear some vegetation.

Engine idle slight vibration & strange noise

Sounds just like mine do out of the water. I'd say it's normal and you haven't anything to worry about.
