It's happening..... It's Christmas Eve (in March)

@connor2002 Yea the manual is pretty liberal and basic for the break in. Basically: 1) First 5min operate engines below 2000rpm 2) Next 90min operate engines below 5000rpm. Manual doesn't mention it but it's best to vary the RPM's every few minutes doing whatever break-in period you chose...

    255X sound deadening

Just curious… figured it’s a cavity like the fuel tank area that would echo and resonate noise.

    255X sound deadening

Has anyone soundproofed the ski Locker door? Plan to do the fuel tank cover but was thinking of other places.

    Georgia Jet Boaters

Guess at 53 I’m an anti-FB grumpy old’man 😁. Gave up on FB years ago. But, I would love to keep in touch with a group. I’m probably an outlier since I’m on the south sound and boat on West Point and Lake Martin in AL.

    Danforth/Fluke Anchor for a 222

My 255XD didn’t come with an anchor kit either. Got the dealer to throw it in with purchase. Yea me 😏🎉 Lol. Can’t believe they don’t come with it. Honestly can’t believe yamaha/shore lander are still shipping their trailers without Stoltz rollers too…

    Yamaha Sales event “Perfect Choice”

180 months…. That’s a mortgage! But, I get it..payments are payments. I have the same offer when I just financed the balance on my 255. Just paying extra too get it paid off early…I hope. My credit Union is at 7.49% for boats. They usually have a “loan sale” in Spring and then Fall with...

house vs start switches on the 2024's

@TommyMcK Thanks a ton. I saw your comment before on the Charger indications and the load once the switch is on. I Didn't realize that but "I'm pickin up what you're laying down" now :winkingthumbsup". Makes sense I'd like to get a 2nd house battery on this boat but not sure where I can I...

house vs start switches on the 2024's

Hey guys, Thanks for all the info. Took the boat out yesterday and the wiring did look correct @Bottom Bracket. I can see where that wire could easily be missed. And yes, I did have the red light on the DVSR while the engines were running. So that looks normal (forgot about that light). While...

house vs start switches on the 2024's

Noco Gen 5x3. ( I only have 2 of the 3 chargers connected right now). OK thanks for that info. Boat is all buttoned up for the road trip and I'll take a look at that wire and the red light ina few hours when we get on the water. Thanks @Bottom Bracket

house vs start switches on the 2024's

Interesting… I‘m taking mine back to marine to get it checked out. Having battery issues too so I’ll let you know what I find out. Hook the Noco charger up to the batteries and charged for 2 days. Show a full charge. Turn both battery switches on plus the stereo and within minutes the Noco...

house vs start switches on the 2024's

I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I gotta filter it out from some other experiences. So, I got my new 2024 255XD. Been working on it in the driveway and getting everything set up. Of course I have to have the stereo going while I do that but, I can only get the connex screen and any...
