    Yes , it's usually good anytime the wind is from the north or west. I handle the waves pretty good, until about a 3 foot swell. The Thunder Bay break wall is 10 miles long, and, a 1/8th mile out so there is still room to go for a ride. windfinder.com is my goto for planning a day on Lake Superior

    It depends on how cold the lake is(32-30f where I live),,, anywhere between 120 and 160f it cools off a bit as you go faster too. I guess I should check to see what the thermostat should be at.

    No problems starting ,, choke on ,, starts in 3 seconds,, no primer ball,, it has the auto injection unit to mix the oil. I'm not sure what is stock but mine has surface fire plugs; no gap to set.,, I use a laser point temp gage ($40) to check the running temp. of my outboards once a year.

    Silly question Trailer tire PSI

    Check your tire load rating ,, if you are close to the max rating them expect your tires to heat up more and pressure to be a factor. My tires seem to average a 5 psi increase on the highway.

    Other options; You could also remove the drive end and powder coat or color anodize it if you have the cash. Aircraft painting of aluminum.....industrial products.... use alumi-prep to remove oxidation,, alodine to anodize the aluminum, epoxy primer then paint approved for all conditions...

    I use a magnetic mount and just silicon a steel plate to anything that's not metal; On my toys so I can easily grab the camera and do a selfi, or pan around then return it to a safe mount on the fly. The only underwater stuff I've done was with a almost neutral buoyancy float,, on fishing...

    -3m has aluminum restorer for boat hulls/pontoons -scotch-brite drill wheel,, then get a headlight restoring power ball and cut polish to a shine. - or just soda or sandblast and prime with zinc chromate primer and paint it

    Anti seize on plugs yes or no

    Put on a little anti-seize on but leave the last two threads dry by the electrode,, because it may drip and foul the electrode. That's what I've been told.

    Just wondering if anyone has rigged their jet boat with a hose or deflector to soak sun bathers or other boats a couple hundred feet away. Parents don't like the wild driving and storming the beach backwards.

    removing an oil filter that is frozen on solid

    Putting valve grinding compound on anything that slips (wrenchs, screwdriver bits, ....) has all ways worked for me.

    Great little boat,, I'm having a lot of fun cruising around and giving rides. It was nice to find a boat this small that drives like a jetski.
