Not sure where you are but yes! However here in MN only family on a boat per the Governor no others and social distancing at docks and launches. That might not be a bad thing considering how busy they get.

We have noticed the same thing. We live on a big lake that’s popular for fishing and have several people tell us they have waited up to two hours in line to launch there boat. We’ve been boating this lake for the last ten years and have never had to wait near that long not even on holiday weekends. Hopefully all these people go back to work before summer gets here.

I fully understand the “ Let’s Get out” but it’s hell of excessive atm especially on the Colorado River.

Here in Illinois it's 2 per boat. Family of 4, Governor says take turns going out. What a joke, live together, drive to marina together but we can't go out in the boat together.

Yeah they’re going to have to arrest me, because I don’t plan to abide by that one. Though to be honest most of my boating happens in WI anyways. I plan to start doing my shopping there too.

My wife already said she wants to go to Coralville Lake in IA this weekend. I think I'll stay close to home for the 1st time out of the year. Gunna be pissed if I drive 2hrs away and somethings not right with the boat.

Best of luck, I’m shooting for Saturday as the nicer of the two days, not sure where we’ll go yet. I don’t the pier is in the water yet at our usual ramp in WI.

Last weekend on Lake Livingston, here in Texas, it looked like an holiday weekend... Memorial Day or 4th of July. I have, in 22 years, NEVER seen this many boats on a normal weekend, especially in April!

The parks were pretty busy at Lake Lanier in GA. Lots of dumb people fishing and sunbathing from the courtesy docs.

Anyone with a boat has been out fishing in WI for the last few weeks. Now that all the public landing docks are back in, the pleasure cruising is unreal. However, due to the water temps, not a lot of sandbar action, mostly a lot of winter gas burn off and cruising. Still safer than a trip to the grocery store, IMHO.

Same for Clear Lake. I managed an outing on Sunday, and it was comparable to the busiest day ever. Which is fine, but the party barges of 3+ boats and lots of apparently mixed households tell me not everyone is in compliance. (Everyone the same age..girls laughing too loud at those jokes...If these were the people you are in quarantine with, you are not laughing this hard!) I don't have all the details to judge, but I plan to be extra careful over the next 2 weeks in case the experiment fails and we get a big bump in cases.

Have yet to make it to the river but I bet it's crowded, at home everyone is walking around downtown and the beach like it's a normal day if not more.

I was out on Sunday too. We went out to redfish and it wasn't too bad around lunch but it was a parade in both directions going back to Nassau Bay. I don't think I have ever seen that many boats to include the 4th. We were on Taylor Lake for a while...look for us tomorrow if you're out.

I was in Havasu last weekend. Heard Windsor turned away 500 boats! It was insane. Went to Parker on Sunday and found it a lot less crowded.

still not as crowded as downtown Huntington Beach this week!

I wonder how Mohave is doing if Havasu is as packed as it is. Downtown HB is packed today.

Mohave was just as packed as Havasu, I am on Partial Furlough so I had to take today off, we launched at 8am today and it wasn’t very crowded at all. I am sure tomorrow and Sunday will be a different story. We typically launch from Windsor, and yes last weekend was a Sh1t show at every ramp. I saw a video of guys trying to Launch their 32-40ft off shore go fast boats from the beach.... was rather entertaining..

If you have that video, it sounds like quality entertainment. I normally go out of Katherine's landing, didn't think the lake would be too packed with all of the hotels in Laughlin still shutdown.
