I figured I would help add to the amount of information on this site.
My Speedster only had a thin black material on the back step and that was peeling up, and nothing on the interior. So I added the full SK kit and it was by far the best improvement I made to the boat (Stereo system was a close 2nd)
First, I unboxed the mat material and laid it all out on the kitchen floor and weighted the folded pieces to get them all flattened. While that was happening I peeled the old mat up, and was grateful that is was only a small area. I removed the adhesive using a "orange" adhesive remover, and went through plenty of wipes and towels.
once everything was cleaned, I was ready to install. Each piece I would lay out and make sure I had aligned and fit correctly. The was one piece on the side step that I had to shift back in oder to not interfere with the arm pad, and one piece near the front that I had to trim.
Then I would clean the area with acetone to make sure it was degreased, and would stick a section of mat down. I would work from one end of mat (the widest to narrowest) and push down to ensure it would stick and had no bubbles.
Any way, here are the pictures.
