Hi all,

So I've had this 2004 AR230 sitting for a year after purchasing it as a project, its spent a lot of time in salt water, to say the least. I pulled both transom plates, they both need replacing, port side is the worse, photos attached. I see they are near $400 each new !, does anyone have a potential source for used freshwater parts please? I also noticed that a previous owner had packed bondo or similar material @ the interface between the intake duct and the transom plate as a bodge job. I removed it to notice that there is what looks to be a machined step in the intake duct that is not there on the starboard side? I see these items are no longer available new. I plan on replacing the midshaft bearings, so will remove them to center the driveshafts using shims on the transom plates. Both engines are already out (seized).

yeah it's a mess but I like a challenge, I will be taking my time in between other projects...
