Hi everyone,After 3 yrs in storage took the grand kids out tubing in my 2004 sugar sand tango last weekend and realized my speedometer and tachometer both not working. Both worked fine last time out.Would appreciate anyone's help. Thanks

Have you done any troubleshooting? Not familiar with your boat, but 2 gauges failing at the same time would indicate something shared. Maybe loose power or ground connector feeding both gauges? Just a guess, good luck on your search.

Not sure how good the speed gauge is at low speeds, but I replaced my Yamaha speedometer with a gps one and have not looked back. It's way better specially at lower speeds were the old one offered very little info. Accuracy is also improved.

Best of luck.

Thanks for your input Beachbummer.Just found the owner manual.Says there's a pilot tube mounted at the stern for the speedometer it could be clogged.I'll start there.

That would explain the speedometer, but not the tachometer.
