The best thing to remember is with any jetboat, (or boat for that matter) you are not steering the bow, you are moving the stern. At speed, it just seems like you are steering the bow left and right as it happens so fast. But you are actually moving the stern in the opposite direction of the bow, which forces the bow to go in the direction you want to go.
