traveling to look at a 2005 230 (sx i believe) sunday. im new to yamaha and jet boats in general. any advise on things to check or look out for would be greatly appreciated
Also, after doing a compression test, make sure to smell the oil on the dipstick. If it smells strongly of gasoline or is very thin on account of gasoline then the ecm is bad. $500 to fix and about a month of waiting. Good luck!
i read through the known issues post before, good info. anything special to look at on a salt water boat, rack stored also if that makes any difference. the boat is being sold through a broker who wasnt very helpful on the phone. hopefully that will be different in person
