Anybody replace break light bulbs in a 2006 MFI trailer? Got the lens off. Exposed the water tight bulb compartment but can only get the right side out. Looks like the left side just has a tab that slides into a slot. It's loose but won't come out. Also wondering how to get into the watertight compartment to change the bulb.

Coming from someone who sells and services trailers for a living, I recommend swapping them out for LED. The minute mine give me any trouble, I'll be switching to LED without even a second thought.

In a more direct response to your question, I've never known those sealed compartments to be serviceable, but to be fair, we don't do much with boat trailers.

@Gym MFI must have switched light assemblies between 06 & 07. My waterproof cover is screwed on. I just took this picture and my bulb looks a little burnt too. I guees I will be checking mine soon.

That's exactly the same as mine @zipper. The bulbs don't appear to be replaceable as they are sealed in the clear watertight compartment. I just ordered the new led units that @Billtex2000 suggested. I also ordered these heat shrink waterproof connectors from Ebay
Thanks for the help and suggestions guys.
