I thought years ago ebay would send a message to the second highest bidder and ask them if they want to purchase it for their highest bid. Did they not offer you that option?

With the storm and all, it probably wasn't the best planned auction anyway. I'm gonna roll the dice and relist it this weekend. All previous bidders will be notified of that I do believe.
