Having issues upon initial start up after sitting for a couple days, brand new battery, always turn off master switch. Any thoughts or tips would be appreciated! Thanks

You mentioned new battery, but does it have the required cranking amps? No electrician nor am I claiming to be one. What symptoms are you noticing, lack of cranking, maybe lack of fuel? Fuel, air and spark makes an ICE engine work, do you have all of that? What happens if it’s warm? Does it immediately fire or struggle too?
 
I've found that if I reach my hand into the air box and cover the intake and more or less manually choke it out it will fire up nearly immediately.
