2015 242 L/S Sea Dek installed!

Yes, that is Velcro (just the fussy soft side / top and bottom) @David Decker . I wouldn't call it a problem, but there was vibration. To be fair I placed Velcro there also because the seats close pretty hard when unaware friends just let the hinged seat drop. So I added more for me --- from becoming annoyed by my friend and music when they having fun :shamefullyembarrased:

on a simulator note - I wonder if @JetBoatPilot would consider making a cutout with SeaDeck that would take the place of my Velcro?? It would be nice to have a all-in-one piece that match my current SeaDeck! Will, what you think ? As anyone else ever requested that? It can't just be me that thinks some cushion on these two seat bases are needed :winkingthumbsup"

@ndwiginton - I have been looking at getting that SeaDecking as well, but a few guys last year were stating that the dark color got extremely hot on their feet. Please let me know if you have the same problem. I live a little further south than you and I could easily see the dark color really soaking up the summer sun and burning me feet when compared to the OEM white floor.

Please keep us updated!! But more importantly enjoy your boat!!

SeaDeck is cooler than carpet - warmer than the white floor w/o anything on it.

Extremely hot??? That is not what I would call it. Last year I spent several hot days (95 degrees +) on the water - clear sky and the SeaDeck would be warm but everything is warm, even the white seats! Unless you don't want something warmer than your white surface w/o anything on it, then don't get it.

SeaDeck will be warmer then the white fiberglass deck - but Extremely hot I would say not [flag]
