We bought a 2015 Scarab 195 HOI with 7 hours on it (yellow, white, black) , those 7 hours were from the sales guy. we now have 32 hours on it. We have discovered over 20-30 locations on the white vinyl seats that are discoloring a rusty orange color that are spots the size of eraser heads or smaller. Has anyone seen this and know what it is attributed too? to top it off we bought the Vantage coating which they applied to all the seats before delivery and it still is appearing? Speculation is this may be tree sap or from seadlins but the boat is always covered when not in use. Vantage marketing claims that tree sap is covered in theStained_Seat.png warranty and all of its marketing materials. Has anyone seen the white vinyl on the scarabs turning rusty orange. Waiting on MarineMax to see how this will be resolved. See sample pic attached.

Ive had "bee crap" on my seats before. You can scrub, and it wont go away. But if you clean the area, and let the sun work its magic, they eventually disappear. You can try a marine vinyl cleaner, but try to stay away from harsh chemicals as they will eat through the fabric, and threads.

The only rust spot I had was from the idiot BRP tech setting his tool box on my seat.

Spray on sunscreen? That can leave stains

I noticed that ash from when people are smoking that gets left on the seats will cause this. I zap it with Bonami foam window cleaner and it usually comes out.

Spider droppings leave tiny spots like that

Looks like either from a tree or bugs. Get some 303 aerospace protectant from a local marina. It works very good as a diy stain protectant. You can try placing a cloth with bleach water over the stain it can help pull it out.
