I want to install a wet sounds ws-mc-20 on my 2016 242 LSE. I understand I'll still need to use the Connext for boat functions, but I want to have the Wet Sounds head unit drive my sound.

Looking for direction. Has anyone replaced the polk head unit with a upgraded head unit? Any tips, gotchas, or recommendations would be appreciated.

Yup I did. Highly recommend the wet sounds MC-1. I removed the stock unit and ran my entire sounds system independently of connext to include it's own battery system.

Details on my build page link below.
