I bought my boat about 2 months ago and last night the was low tide n hit a sand bar @16mph boat is perfectly fine or so I thought… I was stuck on the sand for an hour till high tied hit. Once I had enough depth both motors turn on perfectly fine but when I try to go Foward or Reverse the engine does rev n boat doesn’t move at all… 30 minutes later I get the driver control warning popping up on my dash… I left the boat on for 15-20 min to charge my phone for a bit then i got a over heating warning on my dash. Turn it of as soon as I saw that n got a buddy to me. I’m not sure exactly what could the problem be or how to go about it to fix it, HELP PLEASE!

I don't have any experience with sand, but I get a similar experience with weeds. If I run very shallow and slow, weeds clog up things and I get the overheat warning. I usually either try reverse and forward to unclog the system, and if that doesn't work, open the hatch under swim platform and reach in to pull out the crap.

There are a few threads on here about sand causing issues and what to do.

Ok I will check hopefully it’s as simple as unclogging the system ??… Thx

if the properler are not moving you dont have cooling. You will need to see water from the 2 pissers on the stbrd side. Dont start the boat unless you have good amount of depth ( say at least 2 feet)
