2017 242 LSE Polk Stereo communications error!

We have done a complete stereo build, we are not using the Polk tuner/amp any longer. Everything was fine until this weekend, the fuse blew on the Polk That caused an alarm with “stereo communication error”. I really want to remove the Polk system, so it looks like I will have to deal with this alarm if I do that. Can I somehow permanently disable the alarm horn? I’m aware of losing the function of audible warning, and I can live with that.

Would love it, I believe he has a newer boat. I hear this problem can be in fixable with 17-18 ?. Either way I hate the sound of that stupid alarm when you start your systems up.

We completely removed the stock set up and haven't run into any issues. I'm not sure if the older E-Series is wired the same but I haven't received a Stereo Comm Error. Have you pulled the stock system already?

I haven’t pulled the entire system yet, I want to. We have experimented with pulling the fuse and it gives that error, so we speculate it would be the same when we snip the wires.

Did you ever solve this issue? I just did the same with my 2017 AR240 And cannot figure out how to get rid of this "stereo comm error" that keeps popping up
