Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
We are at 13 confirmed right now! Yes we are at the last tier. Honestly I didn't think you guys would get there but you proved me wrong. I guess myself and @ar240owner will be busy.
So I just skimmed through the post about the original reveal of the Wake Wedge. That answered some of my questions, but I still have more - I get it, it attaches to the ladder and the tie down hook. And it adjusts via a turnbuckle on the back. Couple questions? How easy is that turnbuckle to get to? Can someone riding on the swim platform reach down and adjust it without falling in? Next question, say we are done surfing for the day. Can we easily flip the wedge up and out of the way of the jets? Or do we have to remove it? Or must it stay and we are stuck with it til we are on land.
The turnbuckle is very easy for the surfer to adjust but not so easy for the person on the swim platform, but still possible. Usually when you find the setting you are happy with don't touch the wedge again. I don't think I have touched mine in 3 years.
When on plane the Wake Wedge doesn't hit the jet spray at all, we have been on vacations and left our Wake Wedge on the entire time.
The Wedge is very easy to remove/install while in the water if you want to , 2 pins and it is off/on.
