Out of curiosity - what kind of trailer did you get? I have the same issue - i have a 2016 24 painted shorelander trailer for my 242 and want to start using it in salt water for occasional use. not sure what galvanized trailer to buy?
You need aluminum
i am pretty sure it will. If the price is right you can redo the bunks at whatever position you like. As long as you are okay with the salt the rest should work
