Hey fellow Jet boaters!,

I have a 2018 SX 190 which I just purchased. I will be keeping it in a marina for the Summer. My question is should the bilge pump switch be turned off while it's in the slip or should it be turned on? The owners manual indicates the switch should be left on but I have heard the switch is automatic and will come on if it detects a high level of water. Also, do I need to leave the battery switch on for the bilge to come on?
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated!!!!

No the switch should be off since it's an automatic float switch, if you turn it on it will cycle every few minutes even if no water is present. Pretty positive it will work even with battery switch off as long as battery has power as well

Thank you Crob83 - I'm assuming it is hardwired to battery somehow to do this. Sorry for my inexperience on this subject.
