So I know on the newer manifolds the ribbon is now molded into the intake and has to be drilled out. My question for those that have done it on the non supercharged HO engines - Are you pulling the entire manifold out or drilling into while it is still on the motor? I am just worried about metal shavings getting in and there figured pulling it out completely would be the safest option but definitely a PITA. Also thought about using a vacuum while drilling it out? Any insight would be great since not a lot of people have done them on the newer manifolds yet. Thanks!
