So we just purchased our first boat. A 2019 212 Limited S. We love it so far, but I had a question on the audio system. So the front 2 speakers are way louder (more than twice as loud) as the rear 4 speakers. I went in to adjust the fade/balance but it is set dead center on the boat. When you adjust it towards the rear the overall volume isn't nearly as loud (it much more drastically effects the fronts than rears). It needs to be louder in the rear due to engine noise. Is this normal that the back 4 are way less loud? They appear to be identical polk speakers.

Your rears are probably wired in series meaning that they’re only getting about half the power of the front speakers. Lots of good info on this site. I had issues with mine as well. Just do a search for 2017 212X stereo settings.

I will check mine and report back if they are the same.

Problem fixed, I appreciate your input and help. Got to playing with the fusion link app on my phone. If you go into the settings there is a max volume for both sets of speakers. The rears had the max set at 12 and fronts were 24. I could not find this setting on the boat stereo itself and it did not indicate this anywhere on the display or the app for that matter. Just a hidden place under the settings. Stereo is now decent at least. Thanks again.
