2019 sx190 overheat

I havent run my boat since last year, went to start it today had the hose hooked to it and it through an overheating code, eater was coming out the side fine and it wasnt hot. Just wondering if anyone has had any sensor problems. My boat only has 25 hours on it

We've heard of sensor issues before but it would be a blind guess at this point,

where are you at?
what was the outside temps?
how long did the boat run on the hose before the warning?
was water coming out from both the indicator hole on the side of the boat and the exhaust and thermostat hole by the jet pump ?

You may consider a buying a YDS unit so you can monitor the engine temps in real time,
