Impressive Sir Charles! Your Admiral loves you. What's the white cap next to the MK plug?

Access port so i could put the G10 backing plates in to span the area there. There will be lights or another speaker or a small storage eventually.

Damn that's a nice clean install. I love the fact that you can still get your cover on. Amazing work.

@biffdotorg Thanks. 25 yr. old Daughter and I are going out this Sunday for Fathers Day fishing on LSC. Will put it through the motions and full test.

Trolling motor works fantastic. Can pull the boat upto 3.5 mph

With 2 80AH tracker lithium in series any idea how long you‘d be able to use it? I have same trolling motor coming in, I think I have no choice but to get lighter battery for my 190 To conserve useful load

I ran the hell out of it and it didn't even dent my batteries after 5-6 hours. Took about an hour to fully recharge them.

Couldn't even believe how light they were. Didn't enjoy the price tag though.....

really nice, and the motor comes off of the mount easily? Which means that you can take the family out and its not sitting in their face, nice! Did you just drill into the fiberglass or into some structure below? 5 years from now, any damage from the forces applied to that area?

Also, can you picture remote control from the swim platform, beer, fishing pole and maybe a nice view of the bottom (I have my fishfinder next to me, need to get it installed)

@Michael Rasmussen Go back further in thread. I used G10 as a backing plate underneath and it is wide and long, dimensionally stable, waterproof etc. Could of used different materials that were suggested for the backing plate, but chose that.

I Made is a large as I could to cover as much area as I could come in contact with to spread the load. Once I got it cut I used a good amount of 5200 to between it and the hull so that I had contact everywhere. Could of glassed it in, but decided what I did was fine.

The beauty of it is that if I ever remove it permanently to sell or for another reason, all I do is remove the thru bolted mount. gel patch the holes and put a bow piece of seadek over it and you would never know it was there.

It has a quick release mount so I remove the pin, slide out bar and it comes off. It can fit in a bag in my ski locker for storage or I leave it at home depending one the day.

Have also toyed with the idea of removing the top Starboard piece and replacing that with aluminum. No specific reason, just a thought.

@Michael Rasmussen Also I built the mount so my stock mooring cover stretches over it. It is snug but works fine. Pictures higher up in the thread.

wish I lived near you then you could help lol. I'm not as handy, I don't think I could create the base. Same goes for your transducer bracket (different thread)

It is not hard to create the base. I could cut you one. My boat is smaller than yours, not sure if the size would be the same. The mounting plate is easy to cut with just a jigsaw.
