Started to get intermittent loss of stereo controls at the helm this past weekend and a lost stereo communication fault popped up. Turned house switch off to reset it and it worked for a brief period then went out completely. The stereo still works great I just have no controls through Connext. Today I located and checked the N2K connections at the head unit an and where it goes into a weathertight connection into the factory harness in the rear starboard storage area. Both connections looked good with no corrosion. I then checked to see if I was getting any voltage from the head unit in the N2K terminal at the head unit. I found no voltage. Is there any other way to test the N2K network? I don’t want to just start throwing parts at it (new Fusion head unit and new Connext screen). Any help is much appreciated.
