This is is the second time I've used my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L to tow my 2021 Yamaha FSH 210. The car comes with the factory towing package with a factory hitch and factory wiring.
The trailer is level everything is balanced the car is rated to tow 2000 lb more than everything even if I had a full tank of gas. When I tow the car struggles even to get out of 5th gear and finally when it does jump to six gear it will never go into 7th or 8th. When I'm trying to cruise at 60 or 65 miles per hour in 6th Gear my RPMs are 5,000 and I'm getting roughly six to seven miles a gallon.
Does anybody have experience with this issue that somehow their vehicle is not functioning properly because when the numbers add up this vehicle should tow my boat with no issue.
