Here is my latest upgrade. Russ at Lectrotab had a set of 10x14 tabs made for my boat. I went with the auto leveling system. I will probably post a video later.

Very nice. Have you had a chance to try them?

I see you went back to the Thrust Vectors? I'm in Panama on vacation so I stopped over at Jetboat Pilots and seen Will.

Yes, Will's setup works better for what I do. I will be selling the Cobras.

Those tabs look great. Love the taper, and it look like a nice, clean install!
Let us know how does that auto controller work for you, very curious.

It's nice you could utilize the whole length of the swim platform - for the top actuator attachment placement. Some of us who surf need the U-bolt tie downs for things like the wake wedge, so the actuators need be recessed behind that line which is a pain.

I think I should just wait, and trade you boats when you get yours all done.

@Foobar what do the trim tabs add that you felt was missing from your boat?

I'm not @Foobar , but I can tell you they make a HUGE difference in the comfort of the ride in 1' to 2' chop and other boats wakes. They will, when only partially deployed, stop the bow from porposing up and down in the waves. My wife chided me initially on that purchase, saying "...really? Do we need that?" On the first test run she was convinced. Now she says, "best mod you put on the boat." She loves riding in the bow now without getting bounced around. I have installed quite a few mods since purchase 2 years ago and they are probably my favorite also. We do not boat on "glass" too often, so they are used every time we go out.

What he said.

@Foobar Did you get a chance to try them out today? If so, how did the auto controller perform.

No. Wasn't in the mood today. It be about a week until the weather is nice enough here. Tomorrow is rain followed by several days of lower temperatures.

Looks great! If you don't mind me asking, what was the ballpark price for your tab setup? I am looking to add some soon and you have almost the same setup I wanted to go with (probably won't add auto leveling).

Little over $1k as they gave me a discount. (They saw my video reviews of other stuff.) Russ can give you an exact price.

Hey Foobar:
Love those t-tabs!
Just curious what the back story is for your vessel's name?

We had a daughter named Dawn born on September 1st, 1995 that died the same day. Hence, September Dawn.
That's beautiful. Glad someone asked, never would have thought.
Thanks for sharing, that is incredibly touching.
