Question, what are the differences from the 212SX and 212SS? I know it has the low profile windshield...by the way can the windshield be switched for standard?

If you're talking about current models, the 212 has a fold down bimini, while the 212s has a wakeboard tower with a bimini top, and the 212x has an upgraded stereo system, flashy graphics, and wakeboard tower with racks and bimini.

Looking at a 2008 and wondering if the low profile windshield can be changed out.

There would have never been a 212SX in that vintage. The 212 models had larger engines over the 210 in SX/AR in 2008. You should be able to swap windhshields, but it would be stupid expensive. I would bet there may be some 212SS guys that might want the larger windshield though.

The newest models offer the 212 in X and S models. with a 212LS over the past couple years. But prior to that, the 212 was only AR/X versions.

Good luck!
