What are the length of the screws you used if you don't mind?

I've got hundreds of different sizes/types of stainless-steel fasteners in my garage, and I can't tell you which exact size I ended up using.

The best I can say is that they were sized to (a) fit through the hole of the plastic clip, and (b) grab enough of the fiberglass inner wall with a couple threads of the screw. That inner wall is very thin fiberglass (which you can tell by just pushing it with your hand) and behind it is dead space that's at least a couple inches inboard of the outer hull. So you really can't go wrong with any screw.

You can get an idea of the size of that dead space by reaching into it from the aft corner seat hatches.

Make sure that you predrill your hole so that it's just bigger than the shank of the screw, but smaller than the thread diameter of the screw. Then countersink your hole to just wider than the thread diameter. If you don't countersink, you'll crack the gelcoat.

Got a pole from Etsy for the grill to be on the back of the boat and mounted some brackets for it to store in the battery compartment just figured I’d share.
Anyone have a clever idea for securing these underwater seats in this compartment?
