Retired USCG officer, been around boats and ships forever. Owned several outboard before this jet boat. Overall, it is noisy but fast and nimble. Finding mechanics is nearly impossible including yamaha dealerships who refuse to work on it unless original owner who purchased from them. I do the Routine maintenance but now it needs an impeller and wear ring plus theres an engine noise... more on this issue in another thread. I had to call Yamaha corporate who pressured the original dealership to take the boat but only if I stored it there over the winter for $1700. No guarantee they will get to it before Sunmer and estimated repairs are over $5k. A bit of a nightmare. Anyway, second owner 2017 AR195 with 200 hours. I stripped the original graghics and carpet, added Marine Mat flooring and custom graghics. Looks brand new.

Nice boat. Looks great. I have a 2017 212X and yours is in way better shape than mine. I wet slip mine though.

Those prices seem outrageous to me. Lots of people have changed impellers and wear rings. Lots of posts on this and in the FAQs.

I can't help you further as I've never have to change either but I've pulled my pumps may times for various reasons. Really pretty straightforward.

Good looking boat. I have a 2023 AR195.
I suggest looking for a small shop/ jet ski mechanic for a quote, or tackle some of this yourself as Dave mentions.
I'm sure Neutron can chime in and lead you in the right direction.
