yea I had 240 on the one that got wrecked and I only had that 10 months.

I never could understand buying a ski or boat and not using it.
The 1800 engines will last forever, That is all I will buy.
The mr1 engines are also very reliable.
I had several 4 tec engines and at between 400 to 500 hours they started leaking oil everywhere.
My supercharged 1800 has close to 550 hours and it runs like the day it was new. Never had an issue with the supercharger either.

That's crazy. We only ride one day a week and switch between the boat and ski. Not many hours on either

I only ride the second Tuesday of each week. haaa actually I think I did 15 days this month even with the crappy weather I would dodge the storms most of the time, although I called off today since it was horrid weather today.

It's just very hard work and dedication to my trade, some people punch a time clock I go to the water and develop steering for jet boats and p w c's , it's difficult to brave the hot sun with sand in your shoes and staying in wet clothes all day just to do real time testing and obtain lots of first hand experience to be able to understand and meet the needs of the boating public.
It's a tough life , but worth the satisfaction of knowing the boating public is getting more enjoyment during their precious time on the water due to my dedication and sacrifices.
